Our Story
Sage & Rose Prints began with a simple idea: decorating with art shouldn’t be the hardest part of creating a beautiful space.
Valerie has spent over 15 years in real estate—designing, renovating, staging, hosting, and even running a boutique hotel. Again and again, she faced the same challenge: finding art that truly fit. The right pieces were often the wrong size, the wrong tone, or simply too complicated to source and coordinate. In spaces designed to feel like home—whether a vacation rental or a guest suite—art should harmonize effortlessly, enhancing the experience rather than adding stress.
How We Started
That’s where we teamed up to create Sage and Rose. Jessi, a professional oil painter and artist of 20 years with a background in user experience design, shared Valerie’s passion for creating spaces that feel cohesive and welcoming. Together, we set out to make art selection simple, thoughtful, and enjoyable.
By combining Valerie’s deep experience in décor and hospitality with Jessi’s art and UX background, we built Sage & Rose Prints around the idea of effortless art. Our UX-first approach makes it easy to find pieces that match your décor, fit your space, and arrive
